All Social Security Pension and Welfare Fund Pension beneficiaries whose pensions were sanctioned on or before 31 December 2025 are required to complete mustering through an Akshaya Centre from 17 July 2026 to 30 September 2026.

Organizational Structure

Elected Representatives

President

The chief executive authority of the Panchayat. Provides leadership for development activities and administrative functions.

Vice President

Assists the President in administrative activities and performs the duties of the President in their absence.

Standing Committees

  • Development Standing Committee: Plans and oversees the implementation of the Panchayat's development projects, with a focus on public welfare and infrastructure development.
  • Finance Standing Committee: Oversees the Panchayat's revenue, expenditure, and financial activities.
  • Health & Education Standing Committee: Oversees activities and projects related to health and education.
  • Welfare Standing Committee: Leads welfare schemes, social security initiatives, and other public welfare activities.

Official Staff

Secretary

Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Panchayat and the execution of official procedures and administrative functions.

Assistant Secretary: 

Assists with administrative activities and handles responsibilities such as serving as the Kudumbashree Member Secretary and coordinating Scheduled Caste development activities.

Junior Superintendent: 

Supervises day-to-day office operations, file processing, and staff-related administrative matters.

Accountant: 

Handles financial transactions, income and expenditure accounts, and budget preparation.

Senior Clerk / Clerk: 

Handles file processing, tax collection, office procedures, and ward-level service activities.

Office Attendant: 

Assists with document delivery, office arrangements, and other general support activities.

Key Components:

  • Gram Sabha: The general assembly of the people of the Panchayat. It discusses local development projects and provides suggestions and recommendations based on the needs of the community.
  • Grama Panchayat Committee: The governing body of elected representatives responsible for making decisions and overseeing the developmental and administrative affairs of the Panchayat.
